About the College
Drawing on the Isbourne Holistic Centre’s 20 years experience as the pioneering charity for self development and wellbeing education in the South West of England – as well as the expertise of independent health and education specialists - Isbourne College is the only accredited UK college offering an accessible overview of the diverse holistic landscape.
Research has shown that there is a demand for high quality holistic education and training both from the individual wanting to know more about the range of holistic therapies available and from the holistic professional who wishes to enhance their career. The objective being to live a full, healthy and creative life.
Our response to this demand is to provide a range of courses which are accredited by a nationally recognised Awarding Body (Open College Network West Midlands), offering a guarantee of learning with a lifelong qualification (FE Standard), and supporting by acclaimed and experienced tutors.
Our flagship course, ‘Introduction to Holistic Living - Foundations for Balancing the Body, Mind and Soul’, offers an extensive overview of core spiritual principles for those who know there’s more to life than meets the eye and wish to explore the possibilities, but aren’t sure where to start.
Our intensive follow up ‘Energy and the Cosmos’ course brings a unique opportunity to explore deeper into the esoteric elements of holism with its potential for spiritual “Wholeness” and promised bounty of optimum health, vitality and happiness.
We also offer courses covering the professional and business aspects of working as a holistic practitioner or therapist. Additional courses under development include ‘Coaching and Mentoring for Holistic Practitioners’ and ‘Training the Trainer for Holistic Practitioners’, watch this space...
In addition to benefiting from the wisdom and experience of its trailblazing partner, the Isbourne Holistic Centre, Isbourne College also receives fantastic inspiration from its affiliation with other cutting edge holistic organisations that have collaborated with the Isbourne, including the British School of Meditation, The Makhad Trust, IT Schools Africa and CCP (County Community Projects).
Opening the door to a more enlivened way of living, the College inspires people to live more consciously – inspiring self care, care for others, and care for the environment, and a greater sense of community spirit.
