About this Course Designed for those considering self-employment, or for established practitioners who would like to improve their business skills. This course guides you through the three essential areas of a successful business, whilst offering tutor support throughout, to enable you to develop your all-important Business Plan
Session One – Operations
Session Two - Sales & Marketing
Session Three - Finance
Duration Taught over three sessions within a six week period - with a further 2 weeks to complete and hand in your Business Plan for tutor assessment.
Entry Criteria You are either planning to work, or already are working as a holistic practitioner - perhaps a complementary therapist, a healer or other lone practitioner, on a self-employed basis.
Possible Next Steps Part of a suite of Continuing Professional Development courses available to the holistic, spiritual and healing community which can take practitioners from business start-up, through to marketing, professional and ethical practice and strengthening practitioner resilience in order to avoid burnout.
This course can also lead to further training such as an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 3 Development Award in Coaching & Mentoring, Train the Trainer for the Holistic Practitioner or perhaps Higher Education.

The nature of the Level 2 and Level 3 course requires a conversation between the Isbourne College and the potential student to ensure that all have realistic expectations concerning what is available. A pre-course discussion will also assist in clarifying any issues concerning assessment.
You will then be sent an application form.
On receipt of your completed application form and payment, the College will contact you within 7 days to confirm that your course place has been reserved.
