Julia Ingram - Course Development
Since leaving the world of information research and re-training as a teacher, I have worked with or in education at all levels of attainment - from primary to higher education, including vocational and work-based learning.
Most recently, I have been working with specialist sectors to research then develop accredited programmes of study for particular audiences.
Becoming involved in holistic learning has opened up a whole new world of discovery for me. What started out as a job is fast becoming a way of life.
I have been involved in teaching for the last 28 years and work part time at a large primary school in Cheltenham, the last 6 years on the Senior management Team. A few years ago I faced a challenging time and after reading a book by the Tibetan nun, Pema Chodron, decided to try meditation. After a few false starts I went on a silent meditation retreat at Gaia House. It was a transforming experience and since that time, 15 years ago, I have been committed to a daily meditation practice. I started teaching meditation to friends and family and trained with the British School of Meditation I am delighted to be teaching at the Isbourne Centre and now the Isbourne College.
Kelly is tutor and therapist at the Isbourne Holistic Centre. After 5 years here, her workshops on Crystal Healing and Angel Alchemy are as popular as ever.
Kelly's interests in natural health, healing and spirituality awakened in her late teens and since then she has dedicated herself to this panoramic field in personal and spiritual development. For nearly 20 years she has practiced deep meditation and trained extensively in many spiritual and healing practices to expand her knowledge and experience, which she draws upon to transform and empower her clients and students.
Although she has been teaching for 15 years she took formal accredited teacher training in 2014 to show her commitment to the education of individuals wanting to develop their learning and practices in this ever-growing field. She now also runs her own School of Crystal Healing, based at the Isbourne Centre in Cheltenham: www.kellypeacey.com
I am an experienced teacher of meditation and spiritual development, having discovered the benefits of both when I started to make some major changes in my life. From my own practice in Witney, Oxfordshire, I now run spiritual workshops and classes for others, as well as offering private consultations which take a holistic approach to healing mind, body and soul. I am passionate about assisting those who want support on their life’s journey, helping them to explore their connection to themselves as well as to the wider world.
I’m a firm believer in the law of attraction, have been told I have a very positive style of teaching and have studied with the Tarot Association of the British Isles, (TABI). I’m also a qualified Massage, Aromatherapist and Reiki Healer.
I am part of The Isbourne's marketing team and am also a web marketing tutor, astrologer and dance group leader.
For twenty-one years I published Connections magazine, which publicised the wide variety of holistic therapies, workshops and events available in and around Gloucestershire. I also help run the Aquarius Severn Astrology Society and DanceJourney, a freestyle dance group for people of all fitness levels. I am the author of Astrology, A Beginner's Guide, a Hodder Headline publication, and am delighted to be teaching on the Level 3 Energy and the Cosmos course.
I enjoy teaching small groups and also believe in sharing what I have learned on my own journey as a small business entrepreneur (in that regard I have co-authored of a series of online Career Fulfilment Guides) and as a self-employed holistic practitioner, all of which I bring to the Growing Your Holistic Practice course that I run with Nigel Knowlman. I have also developed and teach a variety of training courses for those wishing to create their own websites and market their services online.
I originally trained as a Hypnotherapist in 2005 and have been working with individuals and groups since; helping them to overcome unwanted habits, release fears and reach their goals. In 2008 I discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) which I found to be highly effective and fast to get results and decided to become a trainer. It is so rewarding seeing people transform as they make positive changes in their lives and realise their true potential.
A major focus of my work is training health professionals to use EFT for themselves as well as with their clients or patients. In September 2013 I set up a pilot Health & Care project offering therapy sessions to those with serious health conditions; helping them to alleviate pain and release trauma. I also run groups and give talks at the Isbourne Centre on specific themes, such as how to reduce cravings or increase self-love.
I have 13 years experience working as a Medium and Spiritual Tutor.
As a child I was highly sensitive and intuitive and experienced many miracles.
As Spiritual Tutor I teach many subjects, on a 1-1 and as a group including, Mediumship, Psychic Development, Spiritual Healing, Angel and Elemental Realm. I enjoy drawing on my knowledge and experiences to help others heal, grow and live a happier and more fulfilling life.
As well as teaching and giving private sittings I mentor students offers Spiritual companion and compassion sessions. I am currently part of the Holistic Living Programme team and write regularly for spiritual magazines. I am delighted to be teaching on Energy and the Cosmos with the Isbourne College.
