Self-Care for Holistic Practitioners - Avoid Burnout and Increase Resilience Level 3 OCNWMR Accredited Course (Open College Network West Midlands)
The work of the holistic practitioner can be very draining - both emotionally and physically. Of practical use to both the newly and more established practitioners, this course offers the opportunity for those who usually work alone to share thoughts and experiences, whilst learning strategies to increase resilience and avoid burn-out.
As all Isbourne College courses come with OCNWM accreditation, there is a requirement that all students complete a marked assessment.
About this Course This course is for new and already practicing Holistic professionals. Using a 'traffic light warning signs' system it will raise awareness of the pitfalls of not taking due care and attention of your own personal well-being. By the end of the course, you will have a personal Self-Care Action Plan enabling you to enhance vitality, maintain boundaries and manage workload and home life, whilst practising the art of 'Energy Maintenance within a mutually supportive environment.
Duration Taught over three 3-hour sessions during a six week period - with a further two weeks to complete and hand in your assignment.
Entry Criteria You are working (or planning to work) as a holistic, spiritual or other practitioner, on either a self-employed or employed basis.
Possible Next Steps For the Holistic Practitioner, this course can lead to enhanced professional practice and further training; for example Train the Trainer for the Holistic Practitioner or an ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Development Award in Coaching & Mentoring - or perhaps Higher Education.

The nature of the Level 2 and Level 3 course requires a conversation between the Isbourne College and the potential student to ensure that all have realistic expectations concerning what is available. A pre-course discussion will also assist in clarifying any issues concerning assessment.
You will then be sent an application form.
On receipt of your completed application form and payment, the College will contact you within 7 days to confirm that your course place has been reserved.
