What is Accreditation?
Each course developed by the Isbourne College has to clearly stipulate learning outcomes for the student.
Our awarding body the Open College Network West Midlands (OCNWM) then oversees the teaching and learning through the assignments set by the College for students to undertake.
Assignments are student-centred and come in a variety of forms such as group discussion or personal reflection.
What are Level 2 and Level 3?
Level 2 courses are at an equivalent teaching and learning standard to a GCSE Grade A* to C. The learning and the assignments are set to that level which is a universal level across all schools and Colleges in England and Wales.
The teaching and learning at Level 3 is equivalent to that of an A-level, and again learning and assignments are set to that level.
